Dry Rub (mix in bowl)
- Salt & Pepper
- Garlic granules
- Chilli flakes
- Mustard Powder
- Mixed herbs
Ingredients
- Pork Shoulder Joint
- Bottle of Cider
- Herbs
- Apples (Optional)
Method
- Add Olive oil onto the joint
- Apply dry rub to meat and cover generously
- Add Cider to baking tray and chopped apples
- Cover and seal tray with foil
- Fire your Amigo Oven to full temperature (approx. 600c), this will take approx. 45 minutes.
- Add the tray, close the door.
- Leave in oven for approximately 6 hours. The longer you leave it the tenderer it will become.
- Remove tray from oven, place joint on cutting board. Use 2 forks to pull the pork until shredded.
- We put the shredded pork in rolls with barbecue sauce!
