Pulled Pork

Dry Rub (mix in bowl)

  • Salt & Pepper
  • Garlic granules
  • Chilli flakes
  • Mustard Powder
  • Mixed herbs


  • Pork Shoulder Joint
  • Bottle of Cider
  • Herbs
  • Apples (Optional)

  1. Add Olive oil onto the joint
  2. Apply dry rub to meat and cover generously
  3. Add Cider to baking tray and chopped apples
  4. Cover and seal tray with foil
  5. Fire your Amigo Oven to full temperature (approx. 600c), this will take approx. 45 minutes.
  6. Add the tray, close the door.
  7. Leave in oven for approximately 6 hours. The longer you leave it the tenderer it will become.
  8. Remove tray from oven, place joint on cutting board. Use 2 forks to pull the pork until shredded.
  9. We put the shredded pork in rolls with barbecue sauce!
