Wood Fired Baked Camembert

This classic 80’s dish will have your guests wanting  more. It’s perfect to serve as a starter dipped with a piece of  wood fired flat bread in the gooey warm cheese. Why not try different toppings: a squeeze of honey & garlic or fresh sprigs of rosemary with olive oil and sea salt?

Ingredients

  • 250g camembert in box
  • 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Few cloves of garlic

Method

  1. Firstly, fire up your Amigo wood fired oven to it’s maximum temperature and allow to cool to around 160-180°C, the perfect baking temperature.
  2. Leave the Camembert in its box, score about 1/2cm cuts around the top of the cheese.  Cut a few peeled garlic cloves in half, poke into the top of the cheese along with small pieces of fresh rosemary. Drizzle with a little olive oil.
  3. Now you can place the dish into your wood fired oven and allow to bake for around 15 minutes until gooey.
